HantaTracker is an independent global hantavirus surveillance dashboard. We aggregate case counts and outbreak intelligence from CDC, WHO, PAHO, ECDC, and national health authorities into a daily-updated map and clinician-reviewed explainer hub.

Why this exists

Hantavirus is one of the most underdiscussed zoonoses with consistently high case fatality. The May 2026 MV Hondius cluster — the rare Andes-strain cruise-ship outbreak — showed that authoritative real-time information was scattered across WHO PDFs, CDC press releases, and ProMED posts. We exist to consolidate that signal in one place.
